Ganapati - Ganesha

A Short Meditation on Ganapati (Ganesha)

Composed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Make many offerings including some of butter and honey.
Take refuge and generate bodhichitta.
Generate yourself as Vajrapani with four arms; the first two hold a bow
and arrow up behind the head.
In front, visualize Ganapati, the embodiment of all gurus and the Triple
Gem. Light rays are emitted from the red seed syllable GHA at Ganapati’s
heart. His left foot is standing on a mouse that is vomiting jewels and
bundles of dollars (in each bundle is $1 million). These fill up all the
Dharma centres and especially the sponsor’s house and office.
Light rays are again emitted from the syllable GHA and touch all protectors,
owners of wealth, and all worldly gods, especially those that make
decisions regarding business. Their minds are persuaded so that, without a
second’s delay, they are all obliged to bring all wealth and whatever is
needed. Like rain falling, the wealth and resources come from all ten
directions to the sponsor and the organization bringing whatever is needed.
All these are hooked back and come to you (or the sponsor) and the organization.
As you visualize this strongly, recite the mantra:
OM AH GHA HUM
Ganapati Meditation 3
Also, request to have control over sentient beings of the three realms,
especially those making decisions about business, and over all wealth needed
to complete your works for other sentient beings. In addition, request for
your own Dharma practice – to be able to lead everyone to enlightenment,
and for all wealth received to be highly beneficial for sentient beings
and for the teachings.
Red light beams are emitted and control sentient beings and resources
as you have requested. Think especially of those who decide about business;
their minds become attached to and obedient to you, doing whatever
you wish.
